What is a Warehouse Receipt?
A Warehouse Receipt is a document evidencing ownership of goods stored in a licensed warehouse, issued by the warehouse operator and recorded at the Registration Center. Its standing is set out in Law Number 9 of 2006 as amended by Law Number 9 of 2011.
Is what trades here a digital asset?
No. What is traded is a Warehouse Receipt valid under the law — not a new instrument, not a derivative product, and not a digital asset.
Who stores my goods?
A licensed warehouse operator, exactly as before the marketplace existed. The marketplace never takes possession of the commodity.
How is payment settled?
Settlement of funds and recording of transfer of title happen in the Registration Center system operated by PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia. The marketplace only relays instructions and receives confirmation.
Does the marketplace hold my money?
No. Funds never pass through a marketplace account.
Is the platform operating yet?
Not yet. Launch awaits a limited pilot approved and supervised by Bappebti. Registration open today is user verification in preparation for that pilot.
